I guess gaming VA have it easier, since they dont need to go to the recording studios, most prominent VAs have their own recording setup at home that is close to the studio's equipments, they just have to send their recordings in, and the director would contact them if they needed any changes, I know a lot of gaming VAs sometimes finds it hard, since they feel having a face to face interaction with other VAs will make their work better and easier, I can imagine anime VAs finding it even more harder

I was about to start cursing when I watched the first 10 mins. I stayed up all night to watch this (yes it was 3am for me). But the grand entrance got me screaming “yes”. And yess that was awesome asf.

At first I was so stuck with the sequence of events from the novel, I thought why would they do that wipeout scene right now because they literally have no one who has the might to fight these bastards off unless.. It did occur to me that they might pull the Shrek devils in but that means they have axed at least 40 chapters or switched the order around. Well, that seems to be the case now. However, just like @douluo said, some of the things would no longer make sense or be necessary.

For me, TS’s badass arrival does not mean victory is at hand. First of all, the so-called elder of MSH is at level 96, so he’s comparable to sword Douluo and TS is only 85? I know he fought Bo Saixi who is a level 99 half-god but that was a near fluke.

Unless.. they fast forward everything and TSalready has the red rings from Da Ming and Er Ming and most of all, XW is resurrected. But it would be so much grander and impactful when TS flaunts his 5 black rings and 4 red rings rather than 8 rings now. So perhaps they might do a flash back but it still does not make sense because ghost Douluo is still kicking around. Those who have read the novel know what I’m talking about. This “pre-sacrifice (of the two beasties)” showdown between TS and Bibidong is the real high point. If this pivotal scene and of course TS’s return to Hao Tian Clan are gone, then it’s game over for me. Oh btw, @douluo: we can then start our weekly rambling somewhere else. 😉

Yes that is what I fear, that they did all those things before coming back, which would mean that it was a while between leaving the island and coming back

You’ve got the point! With TS’s protective nature, he would never have let XW expose herself so openly especially now that he’s (almost) having the power to resurrect her.

They might still keep the main events though but the delightful titbits are most probably gone. Dang, there goes all my fav scenes:No more reunion with badass great grandpa, no more TS’s playing innocent and then vaporising everyone with his 8th skill at the forest.

Although I’m not a big fan of XW, I’m still very much looking forward to see her resurrection. I really hope the production team doesn’t cut corners! They have exceeded expectations so far.

Yeah they will keep the main events, since they moved the battle from the northern part of the empire to the Tiandou capital

Did you notice that TS is not using his trident? I watched the preview for next week again and he was using his hammer all the time. The trident cannot be put into his storage belt, it will crush it with its weight. Does that mean that he managed to “embed” it into his trident mark on his forehead? I thought he could only do that after he became the God King. And he would
definitely not leave it behind (or have it hidden), that would be an insult to the Sea God.

I havent read the novel but have seen enough spoilers through comments to know that Er Ming and Da Ming are coming up. Personally, I feel that they've moved the chapters around a bit to please those who were complaining about the training arc taking so many episodes and wanted to get back to the mainland.
As for Tang San being protective of Xiao Wu, I do agree with you on that but dont forget her temperament. She gets annoyed at him being over protective and wants to do her part as well which was clearly shown in the training trails.

Tang San and Xiao Wu doesnt meet up with the rest of the group after leaving the island, he meets Tang Chen, encounters Da Ming and Er Ming then goes to his father and mother, revives Xiao Wu and his mother, then Haotian Clan

So all these are thrown around, they might have made it that he's done all that and then "flashback" or yeah they moved it around like you said and we will see those events later on

Also thing about Xiao Wu appearing like this, she hasnt fully recovered, it isnt until after Da Ming and Er Ming event, this is important since it further bonds Tang San's parents with her, so until she is revived I dont see how she can roam around, it defeats the purpose of Tang San trying to revive her

They probably changed that part to keep them staying together so that they'd be safe traveling in numbers. In regard to Tang San meeting Tang Chen, that still may happen after this battle. They may do a scene where they stop off at a town on the way back to meet up with Xiaogang and they meet Tang Chen then similar to the village stop they made on their way to the sea port to travel to the island.
Xiao Wu can maintain control of her body for a period of time and relies heavily on them when she isnt in control of her body. However, she may have took control of her body to help lessen the burden on the others during this fight. It would still provide purpose to Tang San reviving her later so that she could finally be in full control of her body

This is just me hypothesizing though, its not set in stone that is what will happen.

Oh I agree totally, things have changed so much that nothing is set in stone, and now the studio is free to take whatever events that occurred in the novel and animate it. We will have to see after this battle to find out whether the studio tossed out the novel events, or switched them around

From what has been shown so far, I can only guess that Xiaogang has already sent him the message as you said to notify him of the two royal families meeting so that they would go there just in case there was a problem which is why they've shown up. In regard to what is happening in the forest, I can only assume that they'll go there after they hear from the students and qin ming who survived the attack when they tell them that martial spirit hall are there in force. Hopefully, after that it'll appear chronologically so those that have read the novel can see where the story is going.

I had a rough idea of what you meant, I just tried to lay it out a little better so it was formed in a way so that we wouldnt skip any of the important parts of the story. I'm sure there was something else that I missed from the hidden comments that I could have mentioned too but not 100% sure. Even if they dont do it like I wrote, I hope that they'll do something along those lines so we dont miss out.
I just hope they dont rush it because we've only got so many episodes left and due to the lockdown in China, we're also missing out on some content due to the episode length being halved. I'm not complaining about that by the way, I'm actually grateful that they'd still be willing to work under those conditions and increased difficulty. The same can be said about the other studio teams that are still working to release their content too.

Honestly, I don't know what to think at this point. I'm still kinda nursing my shock/wounds lol. The points about XW are great ones--that didn't even occur to me until you two mentioned it because I assumed her appearance was there for fan service, as part of the entrance. After all, it would be a little weird not to show all of Shrek if they're already there. But for sure, there's no way TS would allow her to face open battle, unless as Dase says we're much farther in the future than we imagine, which is entirely possible.

As to the Trident, my guess is that TS is going to try to end this particular squabble without revealing all his cards. Plus from an abilities standpoint, that's the only thing that makes sense to me. Yes, the lvl 96 TD is nothing to sneeze at, even one level above Sea Dragon Douluo, but still well within TS's ability to defeat decisively without his SG abilities. After all, at only 85 he nearly killed Bibi at level 98....with four other Titled Douluos...attacking simultaneously. So as much as I like a good fight, if TS and company really struggle here, my WUTs are coming out lol. Even with Mubai/ZZQ 'untitled', the Hell White Tiger alone would be sufficient to deal with most of these jokers. And holy $hit was Fatty's Phoenix entrance epic asf or what! WOW. Not that's what I'm talking about 😍💪🏻

And if they're faithful to the novel, the Golden Generation (with the possible exception of Hu Liena possessing the Asura Domain) *shouldn't* be of much help either. I remember Xie Yue mentioning to her, after TS's West Lu City massacre, that he would have been no match for General Stanford (lvl 74), who literally was turned to pulp by TS's CS Hammer. Hell, by rights none of them would be able to handle a mirror-sausaged Oscar, let alone TS, Mubai or Fatty. But I think it's obvious the producers will make them much more powerful than the novel, which is fine. It'll make Yan's smackdown much more delicious, hopefully something akin to how TS imagined under Sea Fantasy Douluo's influence 🤣. So my guess is that they'll somehow escape here because I can't see them getting killed already.

Now the question is what about Qin Ming and Gui Mei? My guess, given the premium on entrances lol, is that the Golden Triangle will save him. Qin Ming, would most certainly be entrusted with very promising/upper level students, so I can't imagine that they'd let him wander off too far without someone watching his six, or possibly even a speed clan scout nearby.

Gonna be interesting. I have to admit, not knowing what's ahead is growing on me 😆. It allows for lots fun conjecture again lol.

Given the changes, perhaps Poison Douluo kills Qui Mei, thereby ending the usefulness of their duo fusion with A-hole Douluo (yes that is his nickname in the Chinese community, since because of... chrysanthemum looking like... an... anyway, not the point)
So they probably moved up the first skirmish/battle when the Seven makes an appearance, we can pretty much speculate without spoiler tags, since, most will be different here on now

Yes it will be kind of weird not knowing what will happen, I just wish they will follow through with the small events, like Tang Hao and his wife, returning to Haotian Clan. Just got to keep an eye on Xiao Wu's emotional state in the upcoming episodes, since this will indicate the status of Da Ming and Er Ming and also whether she is revived, if so then what about Tang San's parents Also if Tang San does detonate his rings, then we know he's been back to Haotian Clan

I with regard to Gui Mei, my prediction is that Poison Douluo sends him packing after injuring Qin Ming. I'd be a little skeptical that PD can actually kill Ghost, given that the latter is three levels above him. That would both allow for Gui Mei to be at the hunt, and to give 'license' for TS to go full Asura on him.

How about I raise the stakes by adding the Golden Iron Triangle coming to the rescue as well :)
